FAIR

Fair

by Karly Thomas

The premiere production of Fair was directed in close conjunction with playwright, Karly Thomas, and has since gone on to win the Kennedy Center Undergraduate Playwriting Award. Combining elements of Greek theatre, Commedia dell'arte, and contemporary dance styles, this modern day coming of age story explores themes of gendered social norms, beauty standards, and motherhood through the eyes of Emma as she is visited by The Beauties who attempt to guide her through young adulthood.
